iGOmii for iPad Available Now
In this review we’ll take a look at a brand new iPad App that was released on the iTunes App store on February 7, 2014. This stylish travel app lets you create interactive maps of your favorite that you visit. The developer is Igomii and they’ve developed a really cool and unique app that we think you’ll enjoy. The app is called iGOmii for iPad
and it is packed full of a ton of great features.
iGOmii for iPad comes with over 150 styles of map pins that are categorized to easily show your favourite places, museums, parks, places for kids, or any of the other major categories. This great travel app for mapping allows you to customize based on your needs when traveling. For example, if your going through the wine country of Tuscany you can create your own custom map of that region. It’s really great for business travel too — add your hotel and a convention center, then quickly locate a full list of nearby restaurants, shops, bars, and more.
Another great feature in iGOmii for iPad is the ability to create new maps from WIKIPEDIA pages. You can simply scan WikiPedia’s listings for local attractions like, parks, museums, and galleries. Then add these places as custom pins on your map for that city. We also like that when you want to do a fresh search of nearby attractions you don’t have to leave the app to use your browser to search. The iGOmii for iPad app has a built-in browser in the map toolbar so you can easily find and pin that restaurant or park in your map.
