I agree with the artical. The camera can be used for bulling and of course since im in high school i know very well but it also can be used for chat with a student and teacher so that they can catch up from missing a assment or if the student does not understand the assiment. I am also evimenterly concince so using less paper is great. The cost is quiet a bit and that is understood but i think that they will pay for themselfs eventually. This is also better then hurting our backs with heavy textbooks. Bulling is a huge problem but you are forgeting thier are adults that could help. As for the thiefs put a chip in it so it may not be lost. Wait till the kids are in highschool that way we are more mature. Also If broken u have the person that has broken it pay for it. Celtic26 I understand your concerns but i dont think haveing 0 electronics will help with such things as well as uniforms. We are on the topic of having ipads at school or not. Not the descusion of school uniforms. I do not mean any disrespect but try to see it form the point of view of a high schooler. Also imagine how many kids will come back to school because they have the opertuntiy to use such a device. I think having ipads in school is an incredable idea.

I read about the iWitness upload capability but I didn’t know about the feature that allows you to load multiple cities for weather, or the FB, Twitter and email integration. That is sweet news though because my co-workers and friends tease me about being a “weather freak” so now I have more ways to irritate them with the social mediums! My family will be the next to make fun of my addiction when I get the new Hopper multi-room DVR from my employer, DISH Network because it will have The Weather Channel On-Demand TV app on it. Now I can not only watch The Weather Channel in the morning on all TVs in our home, but I can call up the local weather at my convenience on any TV too. Haha! I can’t wait to add this to my arsenal.

Just to let you know, OnLive is not affiliated with Microsoft. I’m sure they have a licensing agreement of some nature in place to allow this service to work, but OnLive is not owned by or connected to Microsoft.

This is a very cool app – I’m a newbie to the guitar and after just 2 days of playing, I can now play C, Em, & Am and switch between them without looking. Very well laid out game. Don’t get caught up thinking this is just a kids’ game. It’s a very effective learning tool!
