Air Sketch is an Essential Presentation Tool

We found a top iPad apps for presentations and as a teaching tool called Air Sketch. Imagine you have just made a sales presentation on the big screen in front of the executive committee. During the Q&A that follows you want to validate each comment and idea that is offered by your audience. You could give a nod or even jot down notes on paper but even better would be to turn your big screen into a whiteboard that you sketch on from your iPad. Air Sketch apps for iPad allows you to transform your iPad into a wireless whiteboard! (screenshots below the break)

Simple to Use iPad App

Just crank open Air Sketch iPad apps and visit the specified URL address from any HTML5 compatible web browser on another computer on the local network and bam. As you draw or write on your iPad device, it will appear instantly (minimal lag) on the web browser. You’ll be able to present your annotations and drawings in real-time. There’s no additional client software needed. You just connect the desktop or laptop to a projector and even walk around the room while you draw on your wirelessly connected iPad screen.

This could be a very useful app in the classroom and would allow you to roam the class or audience as you lecture and write notes onto the virtual whiteboard. In design meetings it would work well to clearly annotate a .PDF of the design concept.

One of the better iPad Apps for Sketching

Air Sketch is also great as just a stand-alone drawing app. It offers different stroke choices like pencil line, pens, markers, and highlighter styles. We also like the functionality of double tapping a color and up pops your preset color choices. Undo and redo options are also available if you are really bent on pursuing the perfect doodle. Another feature that we like is the ability to email your drawings directly from this iPad apps. Air Sketch is available on the app store for $9.99.
